Chris Wojdak likes to make things with her hands. She’s been designing flowers for eleven years, photographing people for twenty-two years, and sewing practically her whole life. She’s got a lot of other hobbies, too, but let’s stop there. She’s been coordinating events for nine years. Much of that was managing logistics for blood drives, sales events, and education fundraisers, which was fulfilling, but a little dry. Now she’s focusing on the “make it pretty, make it fun” aspect of floral and event styling, which lets her exercise her creativity, bringing a unique and handmade touch to her clients’ most important occasions. She’s married to her best friend, and together, they’re raising a cute-as-a-button little girl who also loves sewing, photography, and floral design. Go figure.

Chynna Clugston Flores is an Eisner and Harvey award-nominated comic book creator, most notably for her comedy series Blue Monday (Oni Press.) When she’s not busy writing and drawing comics or assisting in various ways with the occasional indie film production, she likes to design flowers more than anything else. She currently lives in San Diego with her husband and curious array of furry black pets with unnaturally sharp teeth. Her favorite flower is the pink Peony, which tends to surprise some people. Her second favorite is the Scottish Thistle, which is far less surprising.

Leigh Wilson-Sherry discovered she had a knack for planting succulents and cacti a few years ago. According to her best friend and husband, she “went plant crazy.” You can frequently find her night gardening, as she melts in the sunlight. Leigh’s favorite succulents include Lithops, Haworthia and Stapelia. She is also a crazy cat lady, and when she’s not planting things, she’s working toward her RVT license.
