I take to most crafts like a duck to water. Not so with cake decorating! I've tried, really I have. I've even taken 2 classes. But when it comes right down to it, I really don't enjoy cake decorating. Maybe it's because I'm hypoglycemic and just the smell of all that sugar is enough to set me back a few days... whatever it is... I can't stay with it long enough to improve my technique. Oh well... that's why we have cupcakes, right? Anyway, I think your octopus are too too cute! I'm looking forward to seeing what you decide to do for the official birthday cake!
